So...where to start. My last (4) weeks have just been one roller coaster after another! I finally sought a dr. that would/could help with my pain rather than just mask it with medication. Since that first visit, I have had an MRI, a nerve conduction test (OUCH) and 3 different medications. Diagnosed with Fibromylgia, Migraines, Carpel Tunnel in my wrists, Nerve damage in my neck, and degerative disk disease. In addition to that (as if that wasn't enough), I have an ex-husband who is a complete IDIOT. Quit showing up for visitation weekends with my son nearly (7) years ago. Now, suddenly I get served papers from the court to "Show cause" why I should not be punished for contempt of court. Trying to tell everybody that "I won't let him see our son," So, in addition to the outrageous cost of the recent medical treatment, I've had to hire an attorney to represent me in this legal matter. And, all right at in the midst of the Holiday Season! GRRRR! Not to mention, with all this additional expense, my husband works in the RV industry in Elkhart County in Indiana. Our county has the highest unemployment rate of the entire state. We live in what's known as "the RV capital of the world" Unemployment rates continue to skyrocket! By the grace of God, we have both been fortunate enough to have, and keep our jobs, thus far anyway (we take one day at a time). I have been really working on focusing my mood as to not allow the stress and frustrations overwhelm my any more than I already am. I thank God every single day for the wonderful husband I have, and the closeness of my family. My mother has truely become one of my very best friends. Thanks Mom! I love you!! My kids, stand by me thru thick and thin! Love you too guys!! Anyone who reads this, please keep us in your Prayers. Merry CHRISTmas and Happy New Year to all of you!! (I do still believe in CHRIST and CHRISTmas, and the reason for the season!

Yesterday we found out my mom has a mass in her lung. She is 75 years old, and has lived a very strong Christian life. She is also my very best friend! Lord please watch over her as she has her testing done to determine what this mass is, and what can be done for her! Her pain level is out of sight. Please pray for her.
Update: After further CAT scans and tests....the mass the x-rays showed is GONE!! PRAISE THE LORD!!

I'm so sorry that you have had such a trying month. Your ex sounds like a jerk, I just don't understand why people have to make other peoples lives miserable because they are miserable!! I'm glad that you have a wonderful man in your life now, sometimes we have to kiss alot of frogs to find our prince!!
I will keep you in my prayers. Have a wonderful, blessed holiday.
Hugs, Kimmy

What a pain in the tail ex-husbands can be. Sorry to hear that he is giving you a hard time - is he a little unbalanced? After 7 years of being a no-show, to file an Order to Show Cause sounds very unstable on his part. Good luck with that - I'll check in to see how you're doing with this. Take care and God bless. Lj
