Close Menopause
Early menopause at the age of 23 due to a partial hysterectomy and the loss of an overy brought on due to two tubal pregnancies. Menapause stopped a month later when my remaining ovary kicked-in. At 46 para-menapause began, at 47 I was fully menapausal enduring up to six heavy hot flashes through the day and many mini ones.
Treatments
- Estroven Working / Worked
- It took about six weeks before I noticed the hot flashes were under control, then I switched to "Members Mark Estro Vital Nutrients" from SAMS Club. I got twice as much for less cost but then after about six months the hot flashes started again and the pharmasist suggested I take three tablets instead of two. The hot flashes were again pretty much under control (not 100% but around 95%). Sadly I just learned SAMS Club will no longer be selling this product.
- Evening Primrose Oil Working / Worked
- Tried Evening Primrose oil for a year with no noticable changes.
