well,

things have altered somewhat.

mum is feeling tons better!

she went into hospital with a suspected blood clot which could have been fatal, and the scan was completely clear!!

the doctors have gathered that this means her body is actually dealing with the treatment really well, which gives it a better chance of working and really making a difference.

this is our last shot, but it just goes to show, even when you're there at what you think might be the end, you're standing on the edge of the abyss, ready to give up and fall, when someone grabs your arm and pulls you back again, and for the first time in what feels like millenia you have a small glimpse of hope returned to you.

im about to embark on a 3,000 word essay, and im listening to swing music.

funnily enough, i've not been well at all these past few days! i've had a temperature of over 102, and i've been shivering and coughing and have a really sore throat. but i've been taking beechams all in one, and they are like mini miracles....

its always difficult to be ill especially when there's things you need to do, and people you need to take care of. I saw my counsellor about it and expressed how useless i felt, and she said i just needed to give myself some time to rest and get over things for a little while.

it was gutting, cause i really just wanted to be better and help mum, but sometimes the best way to help others is to help yourself first.

ironic, don't you think?

I am so glad to hear your mum is feeling better. You are wise for one so young, & yes, you need to take care of yourself too. You have been through so much for your years. I know that your mum really appreciates all the things you have done for her. I wish you mountains of joy this Christmas season.
