I am 44 years old an work from home doing vinyl lettering an graphics. Pretty seasonal so the winter has been quiet. My husband Ed is a firefighter an in the military. I have one son who is 22 an in collage far away. Still getting used to the empty house thing. My son is also on the fire dept. basically focused my life on being a wife and mom. Now that the house is empty time to focus on me.

Love camping on our property watching the deer etc. Biking an doing bike tours, 4 wheeling, cooking but not baking. Love to travel to Texas when ever I can. Boating in the summer is what this town does an I enjoy that to. Also taking my poms Sammy an Molly walking.

Hi Everyone, For the past couple of years the doctor has been watching my blood sugars an I have been testing at home. Still new to all this an trying to figure out things. The doctor says I am predisposed to becoming diabetic. I think the combo of needing to drop 40 pounds and my grandfather has diabetes. I am currently on no meds for it, just diet. Thought I would look around here and learn more and seek some support and hope to return support also. Look forward to meeting you.

I am not here for me but for my niece. I just found out today she has cancer (soft tissue between neck and shoulder) I have joined other communities here so thought I would come here for support, ideas of anything I can do, she is only 12. What made you feel better? Anything. I just want to be there for her and thought maybe you could help.
