Close Migraine Headaches
Migraineur for 35 years. Frequency has increased with menopause. Tried all kinds of pain meds, preventative meds, and am scheduled for Botox injections tomorrow. Need advice.
Treatments
- Excedrin Somewhat Helpful
- It helped the pain but made me nauseated.
- Imitrex Not Working
- Didn't help.
- Maxalt Somewhat Helpful
- Helped with pain, but knocked me out!
- Topamax Not Working
- Took it for 6 weeks. Didn't stop migraines. Made me feel "fuzzy," unsteady on my feet, confused, and tired.
- Zomig Working / Worked
- I've used this for years now. It does make me drowsey and tired though.
- Stadol Not Working
- I hallucinated! Felt like I was on some kind of bad drug trip!
- Cymbalta Too Soon to Tell
- Didn't take it long enough to know....it made my heart beat out of my chest and I couldn't sleep
