    • About Me

Diagnosed with Lupus in April '07. The following year more symptoms lead my rhuematologist to consider RA as a second disease causing symptoms. It took her a year to commit to the diagnosis after many blood tests and with me keeping a diary of symptoms. Now we are trying to find the "magic pill" that will control all the inflammation and alleviate the pain and fatigue, helping me feel "more normal" again.

I was the ultimate "bargain shopper" when I had the energy to shop! Now I watch movies, swim in our back yard, and let my sweet husband take me for rides in the pontoon boat. I also enjoy handfininshing and repurposing old pieces of furniture.....Just trying to be more "green"....

Caroline - thanks for the post to my journal. Alice and I are lucky to have each other and be able to support each other. DS has been a lifesaver for me when I'm down or trying to get information or just need support. Thank you for the support you give me!

Same here. It used to be fear of pain and all that. Now I dread it because of the COST! yikes!

You can sit back and let me be the dental guinea pig, k? If it works for me, you can move ahead. :-)
