Well its 4:30 AM and I am ready to go home. Just have to meet with the doctors get discharge paper work and leave .... Easy .. right ? NO. Well the Dr's show up around 6:00 and they tell me that they want me to stay another day and night to see whats going on with my Oxygen readings. This is something that I am going to look into. It seems tat my oxygen falls from 98% on room air to 84% on room air. I had the nurse get me another unit and sure`enough it seems as if the bedside monitor reads low if its been turned off for more the 3 hours. I showed my findings to the nurse who shared them with the surgical team so I should be going home July 15th around noon.
Now this would be just to easy. Around 2:30 i thought i heard a popping sound come from my sternum. My nurse called the Physicians assistant to see me. Well it seems that the surgeon wants an x-ray to see what he can see. I I will have to update this tomorrow.

Had the X-ray and it looked clean. My surgeon examened me and said that he`wanted more test. He bekieves the sternum is moving a bit . Well i had a CT and an echo. Everything looks good. My temp has risen as high as 100.4 but is currently 98.6. My white cell count was as high as 14600 but is currentky not a big deal. I believe that i am going home on Monday.. There seem to be two camps of thoughts. One its nothing serious and your on coarse for a full recovery or Its serious and you will have to go slow and see what happens. Guess i am a little confused.. WellMonday is comming so Ill let you know when i Know.
