Prayer
EMERSON2D (06/19/09)
My thoughts and prayers are with you for your upcoming surgery. You said your stroke was in Oct 2006, my heart attack was the same time. And now I'm living with the fear of a stroke! Please keep us updated on your surgery date, OK? (I am to have my 1st cardiac stress test next week , which is kind of scaring me!) Cherie

Zipster: I went to the Centrum once w/ free Prince tickets. Now he & I are both sexless LOL. I'm lucky my Sara is not sex-driven, really. Tried calling my 87 yo mom who recently moved into assisted living in Brookline. She is 10 x deafer than I am; won't wear hearing aides. She was "tired" from lunch (my brother says her way not to have to deal w/ a situation is being too tired.) She is a techno-phobe who would rather live in her mold-ridden house than be around the general population. She put my BROTHER in the hospital making his life a living hell. Now he's getting payback for being her favorite haha. Enuff of my malarky. Stay dry, Gene

Not fun being in late 50's & snapped like a twig. Glad you have recovered. Where in MA are you...no intention of tracking you down just morbid curiosity. I have lived on the North shore for 55 years, with Sara on South Shore (Hull) for 4. Dead down here, resort area by ocean, but pretty. We live across from boneyard so no problems w/ neighbors. I like the quiet, except for the beeping of the lighthouse & planes flying overhead. I had hearing problems before stroke which got worse after stroke. The kind of hearing aides you get from Mass Health are crap, amplify wrong things...guess you get what you pay for; that applies to all aspects of medical care in Mass unless you are lucky. Glad you are mostly yourself. Don't know who I am any more...sick of being sick. Keep in touch, Gene
