Close Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
I have pure "O's"--wicked obsessive thoughts. I have evil thoughts that race in my head that I cannot get rid of. I take medication and would like to share with others my experiences as well as learn from what others have to offer.
Treatments
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Not Working
- I had too much anxiety and panic so I ended up in a partial program.
- Remeron Working / Worked
- I have been on it for 6 years and it seems to reduce my anxiety and help sleep at 15 mg/day.
- Zoloft Working / Worked
- There are sexual dysfunction side effects, but I haven't had big panic attacks caused by OCD since I started on it, but I still have the racing thoughts.
- Xanax Working / Worked
- If I need a pretty quick chiller outer I take the Xanax but it is really addictiveI have been on it for over 6 years at different doses and I guess I am hooked but again if I need to chill few things work as fast.
