About Me
I am a 24 year old, college student, pursuing my goal to become a special needs teacher. My boyfriend of 2 and a half years was in a terrible car accident on 8/9/08 and was told he had a 1-2% chance of ever waking up and 2 days later, opened his eyes. It has been a long and challenging road for all of us, but Michael has defied all the odds, and proved all those doctors wrong. I've learned some valuable life lessons, and plenty about the one that I love. Everyday he makes more progress, and I just can't wait until the day he comes home.

my boyfriend was involved in an automobile accident back in august and was in a coma for 2 months. and it took a while to "come out of it", but he got there. he now speaks, eats real food 3 times a day, is re-learning simple daily living skills, and becoming more independent a little at a time.

- My experience through all of this has been extremely tough. But it has also been educational. Not only have I learned a lot about the human brain and how amazing it truly is but also about the man that I love and myself.
Close Anxiety
I am 24 years old and suffer from anxiety. When I say suffer, I truly mean suffer. It is a terrible disease and very hard to live my life. As my profile states, I am already going through a very tough obstacle with my boyfriend recovering from a severe brain injury and feeling the way that I do, nearly everyday, is something I could so go without. My doctors perscribed me to a couple of medications and I have only taken one. I need advice on how to help cope and deal with this. All welcome.
