      For your kind words to the Blame Game post...I think you! I noticed your title to one of your journals...the everything happens for a reason one. I know lots of people say that....and believe it to a degree. But rape....it doesn't happen for any good reason I don't think. I mean, I have looked at it every possible way I can, and I don't see a 'good' for it. But, I DO know one great thing....had it not been for my rape, I would never have met so many wonderful and loving people. I hope you have a great week!

      When I was 16 I was raped by a guy I had known for years....we weren't friends, but did have friends in common. And fighting back only made it worse.

      Treatments

      Rape Counseling Working / Worked
      It helped a lot, but I never finished. I'd get to a point and then I would either break down or find excuses to stop going for a while (no ride, etc.).
      Talking Working / Worked
      It has gotten so much easier to talk about, but it took time. I only talk to a select few about what happened and they are great.
