  Tammy I was just diagnosed myself a few months ago and I too had to wait to get in to see the Rheumatologist. But they put me on a cancellation list and got me in early. Your fist appt., he/she will ask you a lot of questions and most likely get blood work done. It make take a few weeks for you to get on treatment. Just try to be patient and know there are people who care and know what you're going through. Hugs Leanne
