Hello! I am so sorry for you and your family. It has been a 7 year struggle for us as well. I will pray for you and your family to keep this horrible disease away. It is so painful to watch your child have this. You just feel so helpless and wish it was you. We are doing well and my 22 month old daughter's abcess seems to be almost gone--a good sign! I am praying all the time that we are healed. I wish you all the best and please write if you need support. I may not get back right away but I will. We all need to stick together. If you have any questions feel free to ask. I have read and discussed just about everything there is to know about MRSA.

I have been dealing with MRSA for the past 3 years. My daughter first encountered the disease when she was about 6 months old. It was very painful for her as well as for me. I felt very helpless and to a certain point even guilty. She was even hospitalized for it once and even though the hospital tried to get her to stay on more than that one occasion I learned to deal with it myself at home and so far I have been fortunate in doing so. I just hope that one day a cure can be found....
I have 5 children 3, 5, 14, 18, and 19. This three oldest are from my first marriage and my two youngest are from my second marriage. All together we are a family of five and it has been a very dfficult road. We have had our ups and downs. I have realized that the older they get the harder it gets. My first husband was out of my childrens lives for a while, but has been around for the last six months. I thought it would make life easier but it has just made things worse....
My husband has just relapsed after having been sober for 6 years.
