Close Fibromyalgia
Hi i have had fibro now for nearly 15 yrs and i still strugle day to day with chronic pain and inablity to live a normal life also i have CFS too.
Treatments
- Effexor Working / Worked
- I have been on effexor XR 375 mg now for over 12 mths and i do feel it helps
- Tramadol Somewhat Helpful
- tramadol S/r 100mg twice a day helps with pain to a degree. also tak other pain meds with codiene in it
- Tramadol Working / Worked
- I have been on Tramadol slow release 100 mg twice a day for 6 yrs yes it can loose a little efectiveness but without it i would be laid up in bed 24/7 it certainly has helped me function a little each day
- Effexor Working / Worked
- Efexor XR Started Feb 06 on low dose physc took it up to 375mg for past 6 mths I do believe it has lessened my flare ups & it was the only thing to take along with my tramadol
Open Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
I have had CFS and FMS for 15 yrs.... not long ago diagnosed with bipolar2 also eeek...anyhow hope to make friends get support and give support. One would think after 15 yrsof this i would have it together but no i dont...during flareups i get so cranky at my body ..

- i have found the efexor XR has helped with my depression/anxiety a little but now on meds for BP2 also...tho i do know after being on the efexor xr 375 mg daily it has helped my CFS and FMS to a degree
- Tramadol Working / Worked
- Been on tramadol S/r 100 mg twice daily without it i cant get out of bed i use it for my fibro pain too

- Started efexor XR feb 06 low dose, past 6 months been on 375 mg daily i believe it has helped greatly for less flare ups with my FMS & CFS and now assisting my BP2 along with my BP med
Open Bipolar Disorder
Im a mixed bag so to say i was diagnosed BP2 Dec06 and having probs accepting it im on meds...but i have FMS & CFS for past 15 yrs too (chronic pain 24/7) i havnt told my family bout the BP2 yet cause they havnt really accepted my FMS & CFS after all this time and not been much support :( hoping to find help and some support to get thru each day under physctrist for meds and physcologist for therapy and GP for regular contact weekly

- Im on seroquel 50 mg at nite and my physc just put me on 25 mg during day as my anxiety manic has been tooo high hadnt been sleeping... also under phycologist too

- I do believe my 375mg is helping along with my serequol im only newly diagnosed with BP2 for past 3 mths and will keep at it along with therapy

been on anti-depressants for about 21 yrs on and off now i find out i have BP2 such is life

- time with my phycologist has helped and learning methods breathing etc to control along with meds
- Seroquel Working / Worked
- new on this 50mg nite/ 25mg day as my anxiety has been really high and so has my panic attacks again of late
- Xanax Working / Worked
- take only when really need to when panic attack is comin on & in situations where anxiety does increase bad ie social phobia or somthin
- Zoloft Not Working
- didnt help at all
