High Five
Hi Gramy, How are you doing? I go for pre admission testing today. Next Wednesday I am being admitted and they are doing a colonoscopy and I am having the surgery Thursday. Lucky me.. ugh. I hope you are feeling better, Take care, Mary Anne

I know how you feel. I have been in pain management for my neck and arm neuropathy. I hope you find a good pain management doctor. It took me 2 years to find a good one. Don't let uncaring doctors get you down. God Bless, Mary Anne

Stress relief is harder than I ever imagined. It's a challenge to be happy some days. But I'm trying to live more in the joy of the moment and so far, so good.

I *was* able to avoid a full attack! It turned out what I had to do was stress relief: I evicted a roomie who was not paying rent and who was smoking, drinking and using drugs. Who knew that eviction would be a treatment for DD? Hahahaha!

Close Diverticulitis
I am only 44 and have suffered for years without knowing what was wrong, i had my first "diagnosed" episode of diverticulitis in May. I was hospitalized for 5 days, In July I felt the same symptoms starting and got on antibiotics right away. In September I was back in the hospital for 4 days with a perforation this time. I was told initially that I would be having emergency surgery, My surgeon decided to try and get my healthy first. I had a colonoscopy last week and surgery in 2 weeks
Treatments
- Cipro Not Working
- It makes me really sick It may clear up the infection who knows I have always had it with Levaquin
- High Fiber Diet Working / Worked
- i don't get this, I have always eaten high fiber and I still get sick, I do know that low residue will help hold off an attack,
- Levaquin Working / Worked
- I have had this with and without Cipro, It works well. My only side effect is the metallic taste in my mouth.
Close Fibromyalgia

- Aqua Therapy Somewhat Helpful
- Heat Working / Worked
- Neurontin Not Working
- I had bad abd pain. Which I now think may have been a diverticulitis attack but I am scared to try it again.
- Ultram Not Working
- I hate how this makes me feel
- Vitamin D Working / Worked
- This seems to help me alot
Open Chronic Pain
I have had pain for years, due to a car accident now fibromyalgia. Several surgeries later I have abdominal pain in addition to the back and all over pain.
Treatments
- Chiropractic Adjustment Working / Worked
- Sometimes
- Heat Working / Worked
- Helps for a while
- Hydrocodone Working / Worked
- Helps somewhat, can't live on them.
- Lidoderm Working / Worked
- These do help.
- Morphine Not Working
- Was given this a couple of times in the hospital and it does not touch my pain.
- Naproxen Considering
- The pain clinic gave me this and neurontin to try together. I started having severe abd pain while on them. Not sure which one.

- Oxycodone Working / Worked
- Helps but I can't live on them
- Physical Therapy Working / Worked
- Physical therapy helps for a time when I can find a good one like now!

- I had one for a time after my car accident. Not recently though
- Tai Chi Somewhat Helpful
- My husband gets me to do this sometimes and it helps for a while.
- Tramadol Not Working
- I tried this a few years ago and I really hate the way it makes me feel.
