disappointed Mood
Monday, November 3, 2008

So last week the Agency I work for had its annual in-service convention. Tons of people, 2 hour seminars and over crowded rooms! I knew from the start it was going to be a ruff day. I left the house positive that I could deal with this. Early morning went ok, I sat near the door. But an hour into my first seminar the panic hit me. I sat there for about 30 minutes trying to think positive and do my breathing. Finally I had to leave the room. The rest of the day went better than that and I didnt have to run out of any more rooms. I did take bathroom breaks here and there just to give myself a little break. After it was all over and I was back at home I was feeling a little disappointed I wasn't able to do better.

On a brigther note I hit my 1 week mark on my zoloft and I have to say I'm starting to feel the difference. Most people have noted that it may take up to 4 week or even longer for the med to take full effect. My weekend was actually the best weekend i've had since my anxiety started. Today (monday) i'm feeling a little dizzy and having some other symptoms. My long trek towards recovery continues.
