      Type: Clinical (Major) Depression

      I have been suffering from depression for a while and I'm sure if you delved a bit deeper into the issue you could slap a few other labels/disorders on me as well :P

      Treatments

      Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Working / Worked
      CBT has been great, although often at times very hard, especially w/o medication or with medication that doesn't work
      Lexapro Somewhat Helpful
      Had bad side effects. Was only on it for about a week. Did seem to work though...
      Support from Friends & Family Somewhat Helpful
      St. John\'s Wort Too Soon to Tell
      Edronax Somewhat Helpful
      Made me more motivated. Did little to lift my mood.

    • Close Agoraphobia & Social Anxiety

      I was diagnosed with this when I went to see a psych... Have been fairly shy ever since adolescence and I do like to be social and feel my anxiety and shyness prevents this, so I guess the diagnosis is warranted :P
