Thanks for the comment and you are right, it is soo easy to get caught up in your illness, it only makes it worse. I'm totally going to check out the book, and I do believe how you think affects your emotions and so on, and you can get yourself into a tailspin. Thank you again :) Jen

Thats so true! I read a book called the journey by brandon bays and she healed her basket ball sized cancerous tumor by coming to terms with emotions. I don't think CFS is purely emotional but I do think stress and emotions are like another layer on top of everything else. I have completely changed my way of thinking even though its been hard and sometimes I still freak out. It has helped me get though things so much better and think clearer. CFS is like a total mind, body, and soul healing process and its so complex. Its comforting to know your getting better doing the same type things as me. ~Kat

Thats so great that you got them out! Your defiantly on the right path to getting better. I haven't herd of DMSA before but I did try some EDTA treatments, I think they were to much for my body to handle at the time. I have been doing a homeopathic detox remedy, eating organic and things like skin brushing etc. My doctor is trying to bring back my body’s homeostasis before he does anything stronger because of the bad reactions to things in the past. That’s great your feeling better though! I think CFS is for the most part curable so many people get better when they detox. ~Kat

Speaking of mercury fillings, if you haven’t read the book whole body dentistry by Mark Breiner you should its really good. I personally feel like heavy metals and toxicities are a huge contributor to CFS. I never had mercury fillings but had a 2 year undiagnosed allergic reaction to the nickel in my orthodontic braces as well as a nickel toxicity when they were in and that is what triggered my CFS. My dentist says my body is not detoxing right any more and now that I have started a detox regiment I have been slowly getting better. Anways just thought I’d tell you about that book because its really informative. ~Kat

I'm so glad it keeps getting better. I talked to my dental hygienist Monday about Mercury fillings. She said I have 2 very small ones. She said that stuff about it leaking into your system isn't true. The mercury is bonded to the silver such that the metal would have to reach over 900 degrees F in order for the mercury to break free. She said, "by then I don't think you'd care about the Mercury". :) She said the American Board of Dentistry doesn't approve of removal of those fillings for the "leaking into your system" purpose, because it would cost the patient so much and wouldn't help them. I think you've said getting your fillings removed helped you. But if you were trying several different treatments or changes at once it could have been something else that made you get better.
