I was diagnosed in August 2008 with Hepatitis C. My twin sister and I were born 3 months premature and both received blood transfusions after we were born. Stage 1, Genotype 1a. Did 14 weeks of treatment. Stopped because I was a non-responder. Waiting for new drugs in the next 3 years. Nothing I can do until then.

hey so sorry it took me ages to respond to ya... been busy the past month. trying to get whatever left out of summer i could before i started classes. i confirmed it with the insurance co that three months are added but hell i guess i have to do it right? school is an extremely good thing to stress out about instead of tx lol i hope you are doing well! is everything peaceful up that way chicka? i most definatly hope so!!! much love to you

Close Hepatitis C

- Interferon, pegylated Not Working
- non-responder
- Ribavarin Not Working
- non-responder
Close Chronic Pain
I've had tendonitis in my shoulders and chronic Juevenille Rhumatoid arthrtis for the past 6 years. Been on and off medicine to help the aches and pains.
Treatments
- Plaquenil Working / Worked
- Tried this for the chronic JRA in my knees. It worked. Made me lose my appetite from the side effects so I stopped the medicine.
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- I was put on this as well in combination with the Sulfasalzine during my treatment.
