My sugar, after evening out to a little high but controllable through diet after Eva's birth, has gone wonky again, and so I have too.  I am tired constantly...sugar high - bone tired - sugar low - weak.  Sure, I'll find that happy medium again, but for someone who never paid too much attention to diet in terms of set meal times etc, it's an adjustment - and one that's hard to make when you're also involved in feeding other people (quite literally, as I'm still breastfeeding).

To add to any distress, my remaining cat is on her last life.  She's 18, and had been suffering from a nasty case of fleas and scratching herself raw...well, I sprayed her and gave her some drops to stop the fleas, and now she's refusing to eat and cannot get to the cat pan in time to pee.  At first I thought I'd poisoned her, but that effect would've been more immediate and more of a hit to her CNS - I think maybe being miserable and itchy, plus being sprayed, brushed etc is more of a last straw - she's come in and out of not feeling well for a few months, and I think she's just tired.  Last year her kidney function was a little off, and I'm wondering if that's what's going..tends to happen a lot in elderly cats.  Anyway, it's off to the vet later today.
