me too....i volunteer all the time. i spend about 25 to 30 hours a week on crisis help lines alone. i think thats a great interest you have to help....we share that in life.

Close Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)
Im 16 years old. I didnt get my period for almost 9 months, so when i went to the gynocologist. My doctor gave me merdoxyprgesterone so that i would get my period. She gave my 10 pills and said I would get my period by the third pill. Well I got it on the 9th pill. She sent me to get ultrasounds and MRI's on my head. During the MRI I got these HUGE PAINFUL pains in my pelvic area. On October 10,2008 the Doctor called and diagnosed me with PCOS. So Far its been kind of painful.

My Grandpa just passed 4-9-09 of mesothelioma. This all happened within 3 weeks. My grandpa was in the Navy and worked at western electric where he worked with aspstos in both places. It was very painful and drastic for him. He had 7 lumps on his head, liver, lung, and stomach tumors.We were getting no answers from doctors. The worst they told us would be back surgery, now look. Grandpa I will always love and miss you
Treatments
- Morphine Somewhat Helpful
- They kept him on morphine because he was in so much pain. It helped with the pain but they would put him on so much that he wasnt responsive. It was very sad to see him laying there helpless.
