I am 20 years old, a college sophomore, and in recovery from an eating disorder. I don't have much to say about myself since I don't really know who I am yet... still trying to figure it out! But my interests are nutrition and fitness (still an obsession...), running, reading, writing, hiking, yoga, going to movies, cooking, and curling up on the couch next to my bulldog watching family guy and robot chicken =]

You are on your way to helping yourself well. I think I would find a good gastro-doctor and have this painful area checked and then you WILL know. KNOWING is very important in learning about our own bodies. Do know - God is good ALL THE TIME. Dovelady o/ ~j~ ~j~
Have you seen another doctor or gone to ER? I have no clue as to what will be your relief, but do continue until you get your answer. This is very serious and there is no need to go through with such pain, if you can get help for it. Do know - God is good ALL THE TIME. Welcome to DS and keep fighting!
I am in recovery from anorexia and bulimia (technically EDNOS). i have been in recovery for a year now, but it has only been 3 months since my last relapse. It is a daily struggle to resist "ED" and to love myself for who I am inside and out. This is my journey not just to self care, but for self love and respect as well.
I developed IBS due to an eating disorder. Even though my gut is acting a lot better now that I am in recovery, it still effects me very much =[
