SURPRISE!! We went for our big 5 months ultrasound today and no, we did not find out the sex..Chris won! Baby looked great and all of the measurements were perfect. The ultrasound tech wasn't the nicest and didn't really let us "watch" the baby for a second or two but we did get to see all the parts and at one point the hand moving to the baby's face. The pics they gave us aren't the best but at this point I KNOW that baby is in there so that's all that matters. I now feel movement every day and lots of it. The baby's head was down by my cervix so that explains all those tickles I feel down there! Heartbeat was a strong 149 so it hasn't gone down to much. The tech said she knew what the sex was so she must have sneaked it past us but then again we thought we were looking at the head when really it was a kidney, go figure. So we are safe for now since the next ultrasound wont be till 36 weeks, but it was hard not finding out the sex. I think in the end it will pay off and be such a big surprise. I feel great and the belly is continuing to grow, uterus is already above my belly button! I am for sure starting to feel and look pregnant, and I'm loving every second of it!!! This baby has already brought so much joy to Chris and I that i can't even imagine what it will be like after this baby is brought into this world, but for now, it is safe in mommy's belly....
