About Me
I had a Ischemic stoke at 44 y/o and have had a heart procedure to correct a hole in my heart which allowed a blood clot to bypass my lungs. I have severe depression and high anxiety - I'm taking Lexapro. Clonazepam. Trazodone and am graduating from the Integris Decisions program this Friday- I also take Lipitor, Plavix and aspirin daily to avoid clots. Matt Atkinson is an awesome therapist and should have MD behind his name for all the souls he continues to save everyday. I am so grateful to have been assigned to his group therapy sessions these past weeks. I am also grateful to Dr. Lee who is so kind, allowing me to get into the Decisions program at Integris. I despise depression as it takes your soul and the feeling of happiness away. I was married once for 20 years, where we both became unhappy. I have two children from that marriage, a 20y/o son and 17y/o daughter who was poisoned by my very controlling x after the divorce and she was a daddy's girl. Makes me so sad. I hope one day after she has some of her own life experiences behind her that she will come back. The picture is of me and my sweet caring girlfriend, Gaiyle at the Lincoln memorial this past May.

Thank you so much for all your kind comments and well-wishes. We are thinking VERY seriously about Matt going back to school and getting a doctorate. Then, he could teach clinicians his method and just think! What if he administrated a whole clinic of therapists who use his style!

I had a stroke - Ischemic embolic last year and was on coumadin until I had my heart defect repaired - You need to get your INR before messing with that tooth - You may have to get on Lovenox for 5 days and off the coumadin prior to messing with the tooth
