Stage: I (T1 N0)

I found my lump on August 20, 2003, my 40th birthday. Somehow within a month I was having a mastectomy, did not spread to my lymphnodes, thank God. I did not take any other treatments, just the mastectomy. I celebrated being a five year survivor this year. However, five years to the day they removed this cancer from me, my mom found out she has breast cancer. She is waiting on the surgeon and plastice surgeon to work out a day to have it removed from her.Please pray that it has not spread.

They seemed to have gotten all of it and it did not spread to my lymphnodes. So I am trying to live my life without the worry of it returning.
