I started with interferon and a trial drug GMCSF. I reallythought those were going to kill me. I was finally put on Gleevec and reached remission within the year. I have been in remission for 5 years now.

played havac with vertigo, I couldn't even walk around in my own kitchen without vomiting my guts out. I couldn't ride in a car without getting sick. Since being diagnosed with CML, I have had a stroke in the celebreum. I have diabetes and neuropathy in the arms and hands and legs and feet.Iwas diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2000.It was not removed until 2005.
