Type: Clinical (Major) DepressionOver the last 22 months I have tried to commit suicide 14 times by overdosing and have failed miserably
Treatments
- Electroconvulsive therapy Working / Worked
- I lost alot of my memory. By having ECT's done it helped with self harm injury.
- Psychotherapy Not Working
- Counseling does not seem to help all that much for me. I can go in feeling bad and come out feeling the same way.
- Seroquel Somewhat Helpful
- I think that the seroquel has helped me to some extent as I take 600mg. I still do want to end my life but the feelings are not as strong.
- Ambien Working / Worked
- This sleeping pill has worked. I definately sleep all night long where before I was awake more than I was asleep.
Close Hypothyroidism
I was recently hospitalized as my husband and daughter found me unconcious. They thought that I had overdosed on one of my meds. After being put on the phydic floor and seen by the on call physic Dr. did I learn my TSH level was 20. In any event I was discharged immediately.
Treatments
- Synthroid Not Working
- About a year ago I was put on Synthroid a low dose. (.375mcg) Now I have been increased to .88mcg.
