      I was diagnosed in 1 999. i HAD A ROUGH START with cml. I was on interferon. I tought the darn stuff was going to kill me. I am now on gleevec and have been in remission for five years now. I am Married to a saint. We have two daughters. We lost one to cervical cancer. Even though I am in remission, I still take things one day at a time.
