Close Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

I'm a journalist and musician. A month ago, I started to feel numbness and tingling in my right hand. I went to a neurologist, who did an EMG and said that I did not have CTS. But he recommended I wear a splint and rest my wrist and hand as much as possible. It's difficult, since I make my living at the computer. The numbness has continued, without pain (thankfully). Just a slight stiffness in the shoulder and neck.
