How are you feeling? Metformin hasn't been bad for me so far. I am on the extended release kind and no bad side affects so far. And AF even showed 3 days early! I decided to take a break from clomid for a couple of months and let the metformin get in my system and get caught up on bills, lol. I am really hoping that this works for me. I hope that you are doing well and can't wait to hear what the little bun in the oven is!

I know just how you feel!!! But the good news is it is temporary... When i was in the middle of my morning (yes all day) sickness I told my friend i don't think i like being pregnant!! I mean i want the baby so bad and am happy to be pregnant but I am just not one of those women who "love being pregnant"... Well I am now well into my 2nd trimester and i LOVE it more than i ever could have thought!! This to will pass!! Just try to do what you can to make yourself comfortable!!

Close Prolactinoma
Came off of the birth control pill earlier this year in hopes of getting my cycle back to normal to attempt pregnancy later this year. When things didn't return to normal, after lots of test and MRIs I was diagnosed with a pituitary tumor.
Treatments
- Dostinex Working / Worked
- Started Mid-Sept on .25mg twice a week (prolactin = 202). No side affects so far, prolactin dropped to 45 after 6 weeks. Still going...
- Yoga Working / Worked
- Practicing to relax and get my body cycling.
- Acupuncture Too Soon to Tell
- Supposed to get my body back to its normal functioning and cycle. Didn't work immediately...
Close Trying To Conceive
I have PCOS and a prolactinoma and I don't have AF or ovulate on my own.
Treatments
- Acupuncture Not Working
- It may have helped lowering my levels - but no ovulation - so i'm ruling it as not working.
- Dostinex Working / Worked
- Worked to lower prolactin - did not bring back cycles though.
- Yoga Working / Worked
- Practicing to relax and get my body cycling.
- Arimidex Not Working
- Nothing.
- Clomid Considering
- Have prescription havent taken yet
Open Infertility
Type: Hormonal DisordersNot quite sure what is going on right now with my fertility. I have a prolactinoma that causes me not to menstrate or ovulate - but that appears to be in control and still neither of those for 8 months now :(
Treatments
- Basal Thermometer Somewhat Helpful
- Been charting for 100+ days with no apparent ovulation.
- Ovulation Predictor Kit Somewhat Helpful
- Well - I'm not ovulating...
- HSG (Hysterosalpingography) Too Soon to Tell
- We'll see. Hurt like he#% though. But tubes are clear - so we can check that off the list.

Open Pregnancy After Loss/Infertility
After a year of being off BCP, finding out I had a 9mm prolactinoma, then PCOS, 3 rounds of Clomid, 2 rounds of Letrozole, I received my BFP. I'm so happy to be here!
