      I am married and have 2 kids!! My son is 6 and my daughter is 5. They are 13 months apart and life since they were born has been about them and only them!! My choice to have this surgery was for me and them!! My surgery date was October 8, 2008 and now I am just taking each day as it comes, and as the weight comes of each day is better then the last!!!

      Thanks so much. You are right. It was very tough going through the whole thing with Jeff. We were 2 hours away from home, I felt very alone. I was not hungry very often, but I ate very poorly...and I was only 1 month out of surgery! I have only lost 72 lbs. so far. It seems so low. SHouldn't I have lost more by now? I want to lose another 85 lbs. My husband has actually lost more than I have. He is down 110 lbs. Maybe I just need to concentrate on exercise more. We belong to the Y and it is great. I have not been very good about going. I typically go when he has to go to rehab (it is in the same location). I am really trying to pay attention to what I eat. Are you still on protein drinks and shakes, etc? Everyone tells me all the time..Oh, you look like you have lost more weight. And, I feel pretty good. But I want to get below 200. Tell me your secret!!! Judy
