      I have Ehlers-danlos, bursitis, osteoarthritis in 3 joints, and DDD of total spine. Lots of pain every day-some better some worse. I cannot stand or walk for more than a few minutes without ending up in extreme pain-it has sent me to the ER several times, but now my local hospital won't help any more for the really bad days.---add scoliosis to the mix now too...

      I am sorry to hear that you have had a bad pain week. I'll bet you are miserable. When do you see the Rheumatologist? Maybe he will give you something better for pain. You can always hope, right?lol Anyway, big hug to you. Feel better!

      Hi,
      I hope your Rheumy helps you with meds. Mine said he doesn't Rx pain meds. He wouldn't even refill my Imitrex! Keep us posted. Sorry to hear your daughter also has EDS!

      Sheri, I'm so glad you found out about your daughter inheriting EDS when you did. I can only imagine how glad you must be that you got her checked for this when you did.       My thoughts are with you...not familiar with your diagnosis. Spent years sweating it out that my son "caught " my fun! He's 22, still healthy! He could still pop up with it, (its an obscure auto-immue disease), but he's healthy.My symptoms showed up when I was 21, so I still worry some! But for now, all is GOOD!! I'll think good thoughts for you and your little one!

      Flexeril Not Working
      no help at all
      Heat Somewhat Helpful
      on mild days, sometime a very hot bath can help with some of my pain
      Hydrocodone Not Working
      no help
      Naproxen Not Working
      no help
      Neurontin Not Working
      tried it, no effect at all
      TENS Not Working
      put me in so much pain that I will never allow it to be tried again
