It seems I just can't stay on level ground. My right foot has been operated on two times unsuccessfully and I'm going for a third in a couple of weeks. Walking has been more painful and I've been on crutches for three years and in a power chair in the house for a year. Love that chair - it lets me do stuff I would not be able to do otherwise. Just can't afford to build a ramp or buy a vehicle so I can use it outside the house. Maybe someday. Maybe someday I won't need it!
Rectal bleeding sent me to my GI specialist last week and now I'm headed for a colonoscopy - have had two and said never again - so much for that promise! Since that happened I've developed laryngeal edema - an allergic reaction to some medication. It's most uncomfortable. I stopped the medicine yesterday and had started taking Mucinex before I stopped. From yesterday morning to this morning I dropped six pounds. I called the ENT doc and said as long as I wasn't having difficulty breathing he wasn't impressed. Sweet! He wasn't helpful either only to say that if I developed breathing problems to get to the ER. My whole idea is preventive medicine!
I had to have an ekg for this procedure and that turned out very abnormal compared to my other ones. A doctor friend won't read it for me and relieve some stress I'm having. Brat. Both of us!
Guess this is a crocheting day - not up to much. Might as well be as productive as my energy allows!
