The sun is rushing through the sky to drop behind the misty hills,
Cool mornings, silent fields and maples wear their fiery veils,
And like the virgin land before us , It seems the world is standing still.
The fall descends in all its might as nature finally exhales.
Regrets will swirl like golden leaves in gusts of my tormented mind.
Capricious chid has ruled my fate - Life's wishes can be so unkind.
Another year, another ending - another start of something new.
So much will happen, but this time I won't be sharing it with you.
