I was living with a man for 25 years who died right in front of me in our house....turns out he was never divorced. His wife was the one who got the insurance and I couldn't even attend the wake or funeral. I'm divasted...ON top of it all he was behind on all the bills and I'm wondering if this woman can now take his half of the house. The worse part is being treated like "the mistress", when it comes to paying the bills, and his other world. thoroughly convinced now that the "wife" knew his game for the last 20 something years and went along with it. No, the worse part is no support from family and friends. She was the Mistress and she knows it!!!!!! Was this her revenege? I guess, but what comes around goes around.

Living w/man 25 years, died in front of me 2 weeks ago, turns out he never had a divorce from 1st wife, he was the bill payer and now wife can claim 1/2 of the house. He left me behind of both mortgages. I paid bills all these years so he could raise his children. How stupid can I be? Grown, started questioning. What? Make no mistake, he was the bill payer only the last 2 years. Before that, we did it together.
