  Some days one feels you have got this demon beat, you can even go a few days with no P.P.I drugs and then wham, without having changed a single, solitary thing, the pain hits you in the gut and crawls its way up your throat and you wonder -" WHY" I can't help wondering if a lot of this not related to our crazy, stress filled lives. Not sure about you but if I get tense, the first place I feel it is in my stomach which tighten up so who knows.......it's just that I already have enough to deal with, GERD is the *last* thing I need right now! Argh

  thanks sooo much Kirstine - your reply has really put my mind at rest! because in many ways I thought perhaps I had something worse, though in other ways I was certain it was this. At least if I know what I am dealing with I can start to be more aware....thanks..:) Cathrynn

  Hello. I just wanted to tell you that when you go in in November, you may want to ask about having a uterine ablation to stop your periods. My gyn wants me to have it done but we are tying to get pregnant. My sister-in-law had one done a few months ago and she does not bleed at all anymore. It doesn't take too long and you go home the same day it's done. Good luck!
