Type: Be the best you can beI'm currently 154lbs, I would like to be 130lbs and in shape. Then I want to maintain a healthy lifestyle and be free from medications, helps others reach their goals, and travel for missionary work/leisure.
Treatments
- Chiropractic Adjustment Working / Worked
- My chiropractor is awesome. I'm blessed with really good health insurance. I wish everyone could have there back adjusted once a week.
- Dancing Working / Worked
- I enjoy playing Dance Dance Revolution with my brother, its a great way to burn calories. I also go out with friends to clubs but that really isn't my scene so I usually stay home.
- Elliptical Trainer Somewhat Helpful
- Yea I get bored doing the same thing...so I usually limit my use to 15 minutes.....then do another machine.
- Kickboxing Working / Worked
- Gina Carruso is my inspiration for this activity. I totally recommend kickboxing, its fun and burns a lot of calories.
- Personal Trainer Working / Worked
- Yes. Luckily my friend recommended me a good trainer. Very patient, works on the areas that need improvement. He is well worth the money, plus he is serious on what he does.
- Prayer Working / Worked
- God is awesome. I'm know that all the struggles I'm given is to help me be a better person. I know there is so many different religions out there and that is fine, but I know for sure that faith, prayer , mediation, etc helps. Anyone who tries it can see the difference in their lives. Even when I feel I totally lost it which I do sometimes I'm quickly reminded to pray and ask for help.
- Research Working / Worked
- I love to learn, sometimes I get tired, but I'm always learning something either from people or just mediating on experiences. Research helps us understand conditions, situations or obstacles we may encounter, and heals anxiety. The more I know the more I'm confident in my ability to move forward.
- Running Somewhat Helpful
- This works, but I get bored unless I have a buddy who is at the same level as me. Setting goals I guess helps me....but yea...isn't running bad for your knees anyways?
- Swimming Somewhat Helpful
- I love to swim, I love water, but it damages my hair. I bought a swimming cap from sports authority but have not used it yet.
- Weight Training Too Soon to Tell
- ouch sore for days....which causes lactic build up and makes me fatigue if I'm not on medication. I'm hoping once I build muscle I'll be okay. My diet might have something to do with it....but I'm researching the best way to weight train for me. Right now we are working my abdominal.
