PatNC
Female, 68, Newport
"Coping and hoping I'm into remission."
6:11am, July 17, 2009
I am leaving my dear Dr. G for our local GP who is finally accepting new patients. The 40 mile round trip was proving to become too stressful with tape on my glasses lens and having to go over a hi-rise bridge crossing the intra-coastal waterway. I pray this doc will handle me with care as my Dr. G. did. (I can always retreat back to him).

I hope this all works out for you. Are your eyes still in the hot stage and can't you wear prism? Just wondering as I know how hard it is to get by with a patch over one eye. Good luck

It's frosted tape over 1/2 the lens but prevents the use of my left eye unless I turn my head a bit then I get the dv. My orb doc measures changes every visit to see if I can use prisms and so far, nope.

I couldn't wear them for awhile either. My eye's were just cock eyed. Couldn't stay put together. Singlely I could see straight. I hope yours calms down soon..
Also good luck with the doctor change, I hope it works out for you.,
