Close Migraine Headaches
I have hemi-pheligic migraines, which have gotten worse in the last four yrs. I have a great neuologist but we cant seem to get them under complete control yet.
Treatments
- Caffeine Somewhat Helpful
- the coffee if you drink in time can be very helpful.
- Excedrin Working / Worked
- tempory fix but I am banned per dr only use if nessassary.
- Fioricet Somewhat Helpful
- makes me sick to my stomach like car sickness soon after taking
- Imitrex Not Working
- took when given to me by another dr he dognosed me wrong, a hemi p patient shouldnt ever have meds like this they will worsen the condition and can be dangerous.
- Topamax Working / Worked
- worked great for the headaches and I lost weight but after being on it a while my memory was lost and I even got lost going home a couple of times so it became dangerous, but stll my fav.
Close Bipolar Disorder
I think i have been bio polar all my life, of course I was in denial for along time. As my nigraines got worse and a recent historectomy I went nuts! angry and violent for first time really. I attempted suicide and got real bad.that was real recent (sept) still in new stages of treatment

- while I was in the hospital after my attempt.
- Seroquel Too Soon to Tell
- makes me groggy in the morning but ny recent episode was not violent like always, and great its another wt gainer drug!
