  I am so sorry you feel how you feel. I wish I had some good advice for you, but I have the same problem and my only solution short of cutting off my family ties has been to keep the miles between up. I invest all my energy in my own family and so I don't have a lot left to offer them, which helps me cut them back and not completely off. I suppose since you don't have kids of your own, that's hard to do without justifying your actions, and so you feel guilty. Goodluck.
