Hello to all my dear friends on here.  I am so glad that I found you all.  Am sorry that I haven't been on here as often as I used to be, but that will soon change as my last night of work is tomorrow evening, and then I will be starting to pack.  But I will be keeping up more with you all, and trying to better support you in all of our efforts to keep on keeping on.

Yesterday and today have not been good in the pain area.  My lipase has to be fairly high as the pain is getting greater and is going into my back now.  If it gets any worse, I know that I will be heading to the ER and they will probably put me in the hospital.  I am trying to hang on, because I do want to work my last night at DG and say my goodbyes there.  It has been fun, and I'm happy that I got to give it one last chance but now I know, for sure, my limitations. I can't lie to myself about this disease anymore.  I don't like the part where I hang in limbo with nothing to do but feel the pain, and the doctors say, "well, we will just keep on doing what we are doing" -- which is really pain control with dilaudid. :-(  I want to be fixed! Ya know?  I don't like having this daily pain as I am sure the rest of you don't either.  The doc says I'm not bad enough for any type of surgery right now, so....  I just keep on keeping on. (sigh)

Daily pain as usual.  Taking the Delaudid, but it doesn't seem to help like it used to.  I guess my body is getting used to the medication.  It makes me wonder what is next on the remedy list.  Well, I found out how long it took for me to last on this job.  I gave my notice at the Dollar General.  It's too much for me. My last day is on the 16th of this month.

I am moving in with my daughter too.  With the economy getting like it is, it is better for the both of us, as she is raising 4 kids on her own, so I can help her and she can help me, too.  We will be 1 mile outside of a small town, and it's about 31 miles from my regular hospital that I usually go to. We haven't figured out all the details, like how I am going to get to the ER in the middle of the night if I have an attack, etc.  But we will get it all worked out, I am sure.  I am looking forward to moving out there, but not really looking forward to all the packing, moving stuff, and unpacking again.  Wish I could just twitch my nose, and everything be all done for me. LOL  Just love it all.

Sorry I haven't been on here for some time.  My computer got fried during a lightning storm so am using my friends for now, until I can get a replacement.  The whole computer didn't get fried, just one part that costs a few bucks but have been so sick with lung and sinus infection, I haven't been able to get out for some time.  No work, no $$$.  Everyone can feel me there, I am sure!...

My pancreas is still letting me know it's still there...the lipase has been staying about 650 or so for over a month now.  But thankful it hasn't gotten any higher..
