    • Close Scoliosis

My 15 year old daughter has had scoliosis since she was 2 years old. It was discovered on an x-ray which she had for pneumonia. From the age of 2 she was braced. Now her curve is 68 degrees and her doctor is recommending surgery. My daughter is a very active and athletic girl. Dance is her life and we/she is afraid that surgery will limit her dancing ability. We just have so many questions. What would be her quality of life without surgery, after surgery? Some many questions?

      Treatments

      Brace Not Working
      Did not work
      Chiropractic Adjustment Somewhat Helpful
It helped with her lower back and her neck but her curve is not any better.
    • Close Colon Cancer
      Stage: IV (Any T, Any N, M1)

My baby brother was diagnosed with Colon Cancer 4 years ago on October 29th. He has been undergoing treatment for 4 years he has never had ned. His has been on protocol after protocol. The cancer has spread to his lungs - multiple (10 tumors) spread out over all four of his lobes. Just recently he has had a bad cough and has undergone several tests, the cancer has spread yet again now to his lymphatic system. He went to the doctor this past week only to hear he has months left.

      Treatments

      5-FU Not Working
      Avastin Somewhat Helpful
      Helped for 6 months.
      Chemotherapy Not Working
      Oxaliplatin Not Working
      Had terrible side effects.
      Surgery Working / Worked
Until it spread to his lungs. Was probaby in his lungs before surgery. They never did a scan.
