Dinamarie: My heart goes out to you. You are an extraordinary person and I am so sorry that you have to go through this. I was diagnosed with RA in 200l and I have been fighting it every since and intend to go on fighting. I still work full time and still do most of the things I have always loved. Your RA seems very aggressive but I think that delaying surgery makes sense as long as your doctor can live with it. I wish you all the best and you know you have our support on Daily Strength. Welcome! I came across your story and was going "Wow" this girl is so young and going thru so much.It just seems so unfair to me.Your RA has been very severe and so aggressive by the sounds of it.I hope you will like it here.I have been a member since May and have met such sweet helpful caring ppl on here. Close Rheumatoid Arthritis
I have RA and Osteoarthritis. I was diagnosed when I was 18, my freshmen year of college. The disease has taken away two major passions in my life: dance, and running. I have received a total hip replacement on my left side almost two years ago and now will need another total hip replacement on my left side within the next year or so.
