About Me
Hello, I have had RA for about 11 years. I am still going strong. I am now getting infusions, (Rituxan) I am 54 years young and have 4 sisters and 1 brother. I also have 3 daughters and 1 son, and 7 grandchildren. I have been truly blessed. I worked for 20 years until RA said no more. I now enjoy life with my husband of 30 years who is retired. We have a Yorkie who is nine years old and her name is Bites. The picture on my profile is of me and my grandbaby, Hannahbear. My husband and I live in an RV and we travel around the US as much as we can. Sometimes it gets difficult because I have to have lab and see the Doc. But, I work it out and we do just fine.

Close Rheumatoid Arthritis
I have had RA for about 11 years. I am still going strong. I am now getting infusions, (Rituxan)
Treatments
- Arava Working / Worked
- I could never tell that it helped. Not a noticeable difference. But I do take it along with Rituxin.
- Enbrel Somewhat Helpful
- worked for about 2-3 years. And then that and my other drugs (ecxtodolac) had a bad reaction. Caused my WBC to be extremely high.
- Folic Acid Somewhat Helpful
- Not taking, but when I took it- I could not tell any difference.
- Humira Not Working
- NEVER WORKED! NOT HELPFUL FOR ME WHAT SO EVER!
- Methotrexate Somewhat Helpful
- Not taking, but when I took it- I could not tell any difference.
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- Taking it. 5 mil. a day.
- Rituxan Working / Worked
- Best RA I have ever taken. If you want to know more about this drug message me.
- Walking Working / Worked
- Helps to keep my joints lubricated, and relieves stress. Also, helps with my weight loss.
Close Tinnitus
I didn't even know the name of this condition until my 27 year old daughter came down with it. Mine doesn't bother me so much as her tinnitus does her. Mine stays at a low level. It is very intrusive, and has severely impacted her life. There needs to be more effective treatments for this. I pray daily for her.

- I just noticed it one day...it has been constant but at a low level where it can be masked.
