About Me
My name is Ann and I am an addict. clean and sober since 3-7-97, I am here to enrich my recovery. I am a healthcare professional, and have been in the same profession for 25 years....healthcare is such a great outlet for us codependents.(some character defects I am not entirely ready to let go of, yet)Divorced May 2007, reconciled to try and heal the family unit but apparentely we did not work hard enough. I was a care giver for my father who passed away August 15, 2008. I miss him!! God blessed me with my first chid at the age of 40 and I am grateful to my HP for each day.

Interests
Recovery, love being outdoors, travel, lots of "used to be" interested in....photography, skiing, exercise, yoga, etc...I need to take a look at this...hmmmm. I need to spend more time with me again. Oh yes, It is official I am now a 46 year old soccer mom who is trying to keep up with my 5 year old.

Type: Loss of a ParentMy father passed away August 15, 2008 after a year long struggle with a blood disorder that sent him to the hospital 13 times and recieved over 28 units of blood. His suffering has ended and our loss continues...at first it was just putting one foot in front of the other.
