Close Food Addiction
have issues with food for a good few years. didn't really involve into any serious treatment due to diminishing the serioussness (is there such word? ) of the problem, thinking i'm able to overcome it on my own. reality proves the opposite as years pass by...

- Overeaters Anonymous (OA) Somewhat Helpful
- i liked the 'team spirit' if you could call it that at the meetings, it feels good to know i'm not on my own with the problem, can always talk to someone from the group...but couldn't really connect with the steps and higher power thing (i'm an atheist...i guess) and admitting i lost control over my life. i may not be able to control my food intake, but i feel i am the manager of my life...even if bad one :)if i lose control, i need to get myself together and regain it...don't like the idea of giving the control of my life to some higher power i can't really make myself believe in.
