    • Close Gastric Bypass Surgery

      I have started the process to weight loss surgery. I have met with the surgeon, dietician, pulmonologist, psychologist all that is left is my cardiologist. The surgeon is thinking February of 2009. I have lost over 20 pounds on my own so far.

    • Close Obesity

      Started the process in August 2008 for the gastric bypass surgery. I am down over 20 pounds on my own!

      Treatments

      Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Working / Worked
      Stopped the chips and junk food!
      Slim-Fast Working / Worked
      Using a shake now and then. Seems to help take the edge off.
      Swimming Working / Worked
      Was working wonderfully until the pool closed! Time to join the Y!

    • Open Anxiety

      I have suffered from severe panic attacks since age 20. Still working on different trials and errors.

      Treatments

      Breathwork Working / Worked
      works occasionally.
      Lexapro Working / Worked
      Seems to be working. No side effects noticed.
      St. John\'s Wort Working / Worked
      Xanax Working / Worked
      Seems to be working for me when I am going into a stressful situation.
      Zoloft Working / Worked
      Tried in the past did not work for me.

    • Open Diabetes Type 2

      Was just diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. No meds yet. Told to exercise and watch my diet.

      Physical Exercise Working / Worked
      Just started walking. No change yet.

    • Open Gambling Addiction & Recovery

      I have been gambling for over 20 years. Not to the point of not paying bills but to the point that it is affecting my life.

      Distancing Working / Worked
      I'm trying but it is so tempting. Every store has scratch tickets!

      Just discovered to have fatty liver on routine blood work.
