My name is Deb and I've been living with RA for 5 years. For the last couple of years I inject MTX and take Folic Acid. I have flare ups but NOTHING like preMTX. No prednisone....YAY. On a more personal note, I have been happily married for 31 years. I have 3 children: my son is 27, 2 daughters 26 and 22. I also have a yellow lab, "Brady."

Close Rheumatoid Arthritis
I was diagnosed with RA at the age of 48. I am doing well with injections of MTX and taking folic acid.
Treatments
- Folic Acid Working / Worked
- Methotrexate Working / Worked
- Working great!
- Plaquenil Not Working
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- HATED taking it. Three different rounds..gained 5 pounds each time.
