So yesterday I was looking on Craigslist, just randomly looking. I ended up in the pet area. I'm a pet lover. Big heart for pets in need. My ex took off with the dogs during our split so I've been pretty down about not having a little companion around to hang out with. Bunny is cool, but he's more of a drama queen and me me me so a pup is fun to have around at times.

I replied to a couple ads about people moving away and needing to give away their pets so they didn't have to send them to animal shelters. I ended up adopting 2 dogs in one night. I spent $80 for food, collar and leash. One is "2" years old, she has grey around her muzzle as though she's older....but I would have taken her if she were 8 and dying. She's a sweet dog. Anyway, I have her, Bama. Then theres the almost 3 month old terror lol. He has no name yet, but he almost killed me last night. On and off the bed, whining, biting Bama, Bama trying to get away from him, me trying to get away from him, him trying to be close to both of us. He is quite the handful. In one day I went from no dogs to 2 dogs. It was nuts last night.

The pup is currently being crate trained and Bama is in my workout/Navy room....hopefully not making a mess and tearing things up. She doesn't seem like that kind of dog, but you never know. My bunny was fine when I was there, but when I'd leave he decided to explore and go places he wasn't supposed to have been. Thats why he's not allowed to run the house anymore. He was annoyed by the puppy this morning when I put him in the crate. Bunny came out of his house into the open part of his cage and was tryin to figure out what in the world was going on. Then Bama saw Bun and decided to go nose to nose with him. I wouldn't recommend that, he gets pissy, but she might need to learn.

Last night was horrible. The puppy decided to get down, drop a terd and pee on a sheet last night and somehow get back into bed.....so when I get home I get to shampoo the carpet. Fun. Then I will, with bated breath, slowly open up the room where Bama is and hope everything is ok. I'd rather clean up an accident in the house than torn up things.

My ex and I have been making small talk. Apparently the dogs we used to share are both in training classes and are doing quite well. So I'm happy to hear that. I sent back question about the hamster and kitties. I hope the omission of their whereabouts doesn't suggest anything.
