I am a mother of a trisomy 18 child. My daughter Arrowen Valentina was born August 8, 2008. She passed away Oct. 30, 2008. We miss her. I am also mother to Braedwyn, who died suddenly and unexpectedly at 3.3. years in September 2007. After 4 months inquiry, no cause of death could be established. I got pregnant after Braedwyn passed away with Arrowen. I miss them both so much. I am not sure why all this has happened. None of it makes sense to me.

Finding things that make life worth living. Loving my husband, family and friends has been a great help. So does my work and volunteering. But honestly, I don't think I will ever be able to be happy again as I was when my children were alive. I have just had to accept my lot in life.

Close Trisomy 18 (Edwards Syndrome)
My daughter, Arrowen, was born with Trisomy 18. She was a little warrior. This is my second child. My first one died from unknown causes. Arrowen passed away on Oct. 30. Now I have lost 2 children, with none left. Honesty, as beautiful as life can be, I feel great beauty has vanished. I guess life isn't about being happy, just surviving. I am no longer scared of death. I don't know what happens, but I hope it involves being with my babies again.
